NEWSWORKS.org is local public TV station WHYY’s online community news source (they also partner with a lot of other newspapers, social media, reporters, etc. to create a huge database of all kinds of info/issues in the Philly region. They’ve got an active FaceBook page, with lots of sharing and discussion.
Not sure how scribe Emily Brooks found us, but she was eager to tour the mansion, and hear all about our collaboration with East Falls Historical Society this Fall for a Catfish and Waffles event, featuring a re-created Hohenadel lager recipe.

Unfortunately, Felicite couldn’t make it (we’re blaming a Happy Hour-related miscommunication) but she emailed Emily a personal story of how she and her family came to East Falls, and found the house, and so forth. We spent a bunch of time with Emily, too — we’re way curious to find out what turns up in the article.
